Jeff is an Irish entrepreneur and engineering professional working at the intersection of HVAC technology, electric mobility, and sustainable energy solutions. He is the Director and co-founder of EVHACS, a technology company focused on integrating electric vehicle charging with heating and cooling systems to simplify the adoption of low-carbon technologies.
Jeff grew up in the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry through his family business, Aherne Air Conditioning & Mechanical Services, where he gained hands-on experience in mechanical systems and installations before moving into product development and innovation. At EVHACS, Jeff leads the development of patented technologies that combine EV charging infrastructure with HVAC systems. Through collaborations with companies such as Mitsubishi Electric Ireland, the company has introduced integrated solutions that allow buildings to heat, cool, and charge electric vehicles from a single system, helping accelerate the transition to smarter, more sustainable homes and businesses. In partnership with Mitsubishi Electric Ireland, Jeff and his team at EVHACS launched the worlds first all-in-one Heat Pump/Air-Conditioner and EV Charger.
