Mairéad is a chartered civil engineer, holds a master’s degree in engineering hydrology and has over 20 years’ experience across various areas in the public and private sector.
Mairéad has been Asset Strategy Senior Manager for Uisce Éireann since 2025 and is responsible for the management of the Asset Strategy Team in Uisce Éireann. The team deliver Uisce’s Eireann’s long term plans for water and wastewater Infrastructure across Ireland.
These plans are critical to the ensure Uisce Éireann can provide resilient water services to our customers now and into the future, allowing for housing growth and economic activity, whilst safeguarding the environment. Mairead is also responsible for the management of the Abstraction and Discharge Authorisation teams which are key requirements for Uisce Éireann to ensure the successful delivery of their Capital Investment Plan.
