Anne is a highly respected and experienced leader in the transport sector. For over 30 years Anne has worked in regional and local roles that have delivered vital transport systems for communities as well as holding appointments as the Deputy Chair of the Urban Transport Group advising on policy and funding working closely with Central Government and regional transport authorities across the UK and as a trustee of the Chartered institute of Highways and Transportation.
Anne was previously Executive Director of Transport for West Midlands – one of the biggest transport authorities in the UK, which was responsible for transport policy, the delivery of a multi-billion capital delivery programme to improve access to public transport, active travel and improvements to road safety, as well as operations of public transport services, road safety initiatives and customer systems.
