David is responsible for Glenveagh’s planning strategy, overseeing all planning applications and enhancing visibility on planning timelines to create greater pipeline certainty for the business. He also oversees the business’s policy, community engagement and communications functions, supporting Glenveagh to constructively contribute to how the overall environment for homebuilding can be enhanced to support greater housing delivery. Prior to joining Glenveagh’s planning team in 2022, David gained over 10 years of experience working as an Executive Planner with both Meath and Roscommon County Councils.
David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Geography from the University of Galway, in addition to a Master of Science degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Queen’s University Belfast.
