Niall a Senior Economist at the Irish Fiscal Advisory Council. From December 2023 to August 2024, Niall was Acting Chief Economist and Head of Secretariat. Prior to joining the Fiscal Council in November 2015, he worked at the Economic and Social Research Institute, where his work focused on macroeconomic modelling and forecasting. Niall has published in academic journals such as the Economic and Social Review.
