Rory has over 20 years of experience across development, property finance, and SME lending and is an accomplished development and finance professional with a proven track record in delivering complex real estate projects and structuring funding solutions.
For nearly three years, Rory has been in his current role where he leads site acquisitions, secures project finance from institutional investors and banking partners, and manages engagement with Local Authorities and Approved Housing Bodies. His role includes steering Part V negotiations and overseeing turnkey acquisition processes, ensuring projects progress efficiently from concept through delivery.
Before joining Ashcroft, Rory held the position of Senior Manager – Development Finance with Bank of Ireland, where he provided funding for residential projects ranging from small-scale developments of four homes to large schemes of more than 300 units. His expertise in assessing project viability and structuring finance packages supported numerous developers in bringing new housing supply to the market.
Earlier in his career, he worked with NAMA as an Asset Manager on the Dublin Residential Delivery Team. In this role, he supported debtors in delivering residential sites through strategic funding and asset management oversight, contributing to the acceleration of housing output during a critical period of market recovery.
