Founded in 2015, SIRO, a joint venture between ESB and Vodafone, is rolling out a fibre broadband network to 154 towns and cities in Ireland, targeting over 700, 000 premises by 2026.
SIRO uses the existing ESB electricity network (over and underground) to roll out its network – bringing full fibre broadband to the heart of homes and businesses.
As a wholesale broadband provider, SIRO’s partners with over 20 retailers (inc. Virgin Media, Vodafone, Sky, Digiweb, Pure Telecom) who resell SIRO services to residential and business customers.
SIRO’s network is now available to over 550,000 premises – and growing.
